QR codes are something I have used in the passed to allow easy access to materials. Prior to being one-to-one with chrome books, we used iPad's quiet frequently. QR codes was an easy way for me to get students to a particular website, piece of information, or video without the hassle of typing the link into their device. Knowing the difference between a forward and back slash was truly challenging for my middle school students at times. Now that we are on chrome books, the use of QR codes in my classroom has reduced significantly. I can send the same information to them through the use of our learning management system. QR codes are everywhere and with the ability to the ewer cell phones to not require a specialized app is a game changer. Previously, an app would have to be installed and many people could not access the information within the QR code. Now, it is much easier to more people to have access.
